For thousands of years, the traditional monarchs across West Africa have always had a taste for Palm Wine. In parts of Nigerias South, the monarchs have had a preference for Palm Wine of distinction. Ofulelu, is what they call it. It translates loosely to “It never reached ground”. This is the most fresh palm wine, from the wet palm mangroves only in season from March to September, It is tapped and delivered immediately to the monarchs. This is the inspiration Manya Gold.

Sparkling Palm Wine made via the traditional method (Méthode Champenoise) most commonly used in Champagne brewing.

The classic refreshing palm taste. A hit of English apple notes amongst the bubbles. Then a fusion of earthy and fresh citrus notes wrapped in a Elderflower flavour. Slowly settling out for an after taste of lychee and woody notes.
